I love delays that let you control (or at least to some degree) the modulation of the repeats, which i just realized until today after seeing that review (and now it makes sense to me why i love the Mem Boy Deluxe haha). Looking forward to seeing a more in-depth demo of that feature!

I have the regular Monotron (not the duo). The thing is ok, specially if you dig tones that you get from some EHX pedals. Not lo-fi, but sound kinda brittle and with a little bump in the mids/low mids? I've used the LPF with my rig but didn't get musical results back then.

I loved using EHX's Memory Boy Deluxe as a chorus. The Rate knob is nowhere to be found in the Memory Boy or Memory Man, and i believe is what can get you a very personalized feel to what you're looking for, along with that more-than-i-need-to Depth knob.
