Would you trust an Electronician? with electronic works on your bass?

If he has a degree in Electrical engineering then he will have taken the courses nessisary to fix your bass. Circuit analysis, Electronics, ect.

What would you say is the difference in tone between tube and solid states?

You will eventually have to replace your tubes.

    OBP-3 Pots

Pots (Potentiometers) are measured in Ohms, The K stands for kilo or thousands. So a 500k pot has a maximum value of 500,000 ohms. if your concerned that much about the volume drop I would switch it to a 250k pot since that is what the spec suggests.

Which bass should I get?? Thread No. 5349920222332

It depends on your playing style I would suggest trying both of those, as well as a J, and seeing which sounds and feels better to you.

How do you funk up a bassline??

Dotting notes to give them more emphasis. Liberal use of Rests. Playing the root then an octave up. That's all that i can think of right now.

    Left handed Jaco signature bass?

You probably saw a squire VM fretless zombie. It looks a lot like jaco's. That may be the closest thing you'll get to a left handed jaco signature with out a custom job.

    2 MM pickups

A lot of people on the forum are based in the U.S. or canada where its anywhere from 4-7am so most people are asleep, give it a few more hours. That being said I cant say that i have any valuable input as i have never used either of the pickups but one is ceramic based and one is alnico based...

    Back from band..

Guitarists and singers are easy to find. Drummers and bassists aren't. Sounds like you already have the hard part done. Just saying.
