Anyone think of just selling everything?

I recently sold 9 basses and one six string guitar all to the same buyer. I'm seriously downsizing as my wife and I are headed into retirement next year. I figured I'd keep my Warwicks and 72' P, maybe one more, everything else is going. I'm not sure I should even keep these as we'll be living...

Old fenders that changed color thread.

Two Fender Coronado guitars, one year apart. The '67 six string stayed in it's case most of its life and still looks fresh. The '66 bass I've used for years in smoke filled bar rooms and halls.

Anyone for hollow-bodies and similar basses?

All are German Warwick's. In the back are two Star Bass II's, one fretted, one fretless. Foreground is a Jonas Hellborg Signature.

Your precious instruments - to sell or pass them down?

My wife laughs and says she's going to bury me with at least one of them. In reality I'm the recipient of several family heirlooms, some valuable - some not valuable other than from a historical perspective. The reason I say this is that I was trusted to pass these to future generations by the...

    Reverb.com vs. ebay?

I've bought and sold about 200 instruments, mostly acoustic guitars and electric bass guitars, over the years. Most of the outgoing sales have been personal transactions but many of the purchases have been via eBay or browsing the web of dealers sites. From a purchasers view eBay has your back...

    Glenn Cornick RIP

A sad day indeed. I grew up listening to Tull and pulling apart his lines and timing. Glenn's timing inspired me to keep playing in my early years. Any time I got bored with bass I'd listen to a track and say to myself - That's how it's done.
