What cab for Ampeg BA 210 v2

I'm considering this option, I've got a BA 210 that I love. How large a venue can you play with this combo + Pf210? I know, noob post, but that's what I am.

    ToneStyler on a Gretsch G2220

Ok, very cool demo! I’m just getting into moding and my soldering skills are a little sloppy at this point but I love the idea! I’ll play with it. IYO, should I do anything different on a dual humbucker with a pick up selector?

Suggestions Needed - Which Higher Tension Flats for Gretsch G2220?

Agreed, I use flats on my Fenders which are regular scale and the string tension on my Gretsch with the LaBellas is noticeably tighter.

    ToneStyler on a Gretsch G2220

Very cool Fretno, thanks for posting. I've been a bit curious how it sounds outside of a Stellartone rep playing it!

Suggestions Needed - Which Higher Tension Flats for Gretsch G2220?

LaBella flats definitely tightened up the E string on mine. I went with the FM-S set and in my opinion, they have a really dark sound. If you're looking for a bright tone, I wouldn't recommend these. If you want something a little darker with a very distinct tone, these might be a good fit.

    ToneStyler on a Gretsch G2220

I just bought a G2220 and was curious if you bought the Tone Styler? If so, which one and how did it sound?

    Body contouring Gretsch G2220

I just bought one of these, love it. It's so light to begin with, I wouldn't be worried about the weight. I could see a scallop for your forearm or maybe one on the back for when you're sitting. I did a mod to mine that may help with eliminating neck dive, if it becomes a problem. I added...

NBD Thanks to Talkbass "Gretsch content"

Just bought one in the walnut as well, bass plays and sounds great. I'll be dressing mine up a bit too. Already started with some strings, control nob change and a switch plate.

Planning to purchase a new bass : Yamaha BB ? Gretsch G2220 ? Any other suggestions ?

I've got a Fender PJ, Fender Jazz, just sold a Sterling Ray 34ca, and I do own a Gretsch g2220. The Gretsch sounded ok in the store and the playability was great. Quality was good and I liked the amount of different tones I could get out of it. I will say it varies from bass to bass. Several I...

Why dont they build on board tuners for bass guitars.

I have this same guitar and it does work really well. I've put on a snark several times while using this just to make sure it was on point and it always lines up with the Snark. It's pretty handy.

    REPLACING PUPS AND STRINGS Q?

Excellent, thank you for the reply. The strings alone made a heck of a difference!

    REPLACING PUPS AND STRINGS Q?

I’m replacing both the pups and strings on my Gretsch G2220. Strings(LaBella Deep Talkin Flats) have come in but pups(TV Jones Thundertron) are out of stock and on order. Should I wait to put the strings on until the pups come in and do both or am I ok to put the strings on and pull them off...

Pups and strings at the same time?

Hi Guys, I’m getting ready to put in TV Jones Thunder’ Trons in my Gretsch G220. I’m replacing the factory strings with LaBella Deep Talkin Flats. My strings will be in tonight, but the PUPs are held up due to factory being out of stock. Should I wait to do the strings when I get the new PUPs...
