I’ve asked about a couple of basses and English is definitely not their first language. It’s hard to get a response that is remotely related to the question so I think they are sketch.

Hi and this is probably covered but... I use a line 6 Helix LT through an FRFR speaker, but I don’t use any amp modeling. Just a deluxe comp and Cali Q Graphic eq and I think it sounds great. The amp models sound a bit harsh to me. am I missing something by not using a model?

Maybe that’s my mistake. All of my (3) Premium basses are active with a switch for passive. However the discrimination of the new ones specifically says “passive” next to each pickup description which was not there before, so I thought there was a change.

anyone else notice they only come with passive pickups? Wonder why the switch??

No, they are 12s. When I posted this I was going from memory as it was at my guitar player's house. I was looking to see if anyone knew the original configuration so I could set it back up, but you may be right that it was altered. Any suggestions about how you would dampen and re-wire it?
