I think so. They have made some internal changes to address some early issues. I recommend avoiding the older ones. Mine stays at home so I don't have experience playing out with it.

Those crosses are fairly large. Dremel them out and fill with some hard wood filler that matches the rosewood? Then maybe restrain the entire fingerboard dark so it looks decent? Definitely try this on scrap wood before attempting to see if you'll be happy w/results. Or sell it and buy a Epi IV...

If you turn Kosmos past 9, do you get pops? I just tried using headphones and I hear the pops. It gets worse at higher Gain settings. But even at Gain below 9, I cannot turn Kosmos past 9 w/o getting pops. I just want to know if this is normal or if I have a defect. Thanks for your thoughts...

Passive Epi Third Classic -> mMega -> G-K Neo 115-III (8 ohm). Gain 10 o'clock, Volume 9, all other knobs/buttons flat/disabled. Kosmos up to 10 o'clock has no pops, increase past 10 o'clock results in the sporadic popping.

This happens at low volume. Is the sporadic popping normal behavior when pushing the Kosmos level up? I'm wondering if I received a defective amp.

Has anyone tried using the MiniMega with electric guitar? How does it sound? I play guitar and bass and it would be nice to use one rig for both.

Check that the bridge is resting flat on the body. I had to glue the anchors in place because the tension on the bridge was pulling them up/out. Also, see if shortening the spring for the E-string saddle will allow you to adjust the saddle back further.
