It's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it. Besides, I have looked the unfashionable same for my whole life. Just about anything would be an improvement. So, there you have it! Heck, you could probably write an advice column and be a national celebrity!Hmmmmm................. Drag Queen offering fashion advice, do we really want me to do that?![]()
I've only been "fashionable" twice in my life that I'm aware of... both accidental. I'm pretty much a jeans/tshirt/flannel/sneakers or work boots and bearded kinda guy, which worked out for "grunge" and now with the latest "hipster" junk. I look forward to being out of style again soon.

Just Remember - never underestimate a performer on stage wearing a butt bow!
This is why I prefer shiny polyester. At least until my wife changes the locks on the doors to keep any more bad taste from leaking into the house. I can't do the queen thing, but I can at least attempt a Queen facsimile. No lack of shirt, though. Way too much fur.My honest .02
It sounds trite, but always, always be true to yourself in everything that you do (including your clothes) finding clothes that fit properly and are suited for what you're going to do i.e. work vs. leisure is very important too. Spend some time really looking at Men's fashion online and in person, you'll start to see that certain things may/may not "work" for you, that includes colors. Choosing and wearing clothes that convey your sense of style and adult personality is important especially in the workplace.
Also, has anyone changed to a Master Volume, Blend, Tone config? How do you guys dial in your two pickup thunderbirds? Is one volume backed off to let the other breathe or are both maxed out. I'm still kicking the idea of having individual volumes for each on my epiphone thunderbird & keeping the killswitch for ease of on/off use
Generally I run the neck pup about 7, add the bridge to taste (usually 3 to 7 depending), tone anywhere from off to maybe 5 depending on how much growl I want. How do you guys dial in your two pickup thunderbirds? That's the stock configuration on my Pro V. I tend to run volume 6 - 7, blend 60/40 neck/bridge, bass full up, treble to taste. Then tweak from there. Also, has anyone changed to a Master Volume, Blend, Tone config?

On most of them I dial back a little on the neck (to about 8) with the bridge full on 10. I will also reverse that with the neck full on and the bridge on 8.
I'm a huge proponent of the Vol-Vol-Kill setup.
