I sadly haven’t acquired any new gear lately, but I did put together a bunch of Mario Bava audio clips to play between songs at our next gig to save me from having to talk to the audience haha.

Just put in a preorder for a Foul Sounds Axehammer, Greg Wilkinson from Autopsy colab dirt pedal. There’s a demo on Instagram that sounded awesome and that was enough to sell me on the thing.

I put the ODB-3 up against my idiot box blower box at band practice and the ODB-3 is gonna be the dirt on my board for now. The thing just has a nasty edge to it that works for me. Tricky to dial in through, the slightest maladjustment can throw it.

Do you know what the internal trim pots specifically do? I couldn’t find any info aside from nonspecifically modifying frequency response.

I just ordered myself an Idiotbox Blower Deluxe, demos sound awesome. The guy who mixed my bands album reamped bass with a Rat and blended that with a clean signal and it sounds awesome, hoping to recreate the sound with the blower box!

I love reaper and do all my home practicing and demoing of tracks for the band in reaper. After using the free “trial” mode for years I felt guilty and shelled out the $60 they were asking for at the time.
