    Songs which influenced your technique.

Hysteria by Muse :D and a ton of other songs by bands like switchfoot, coldplay, The Beatles, Anberlin, and Lostprophets. i'm really into effects... some as intense like the Big Muff Pi or the Akai Deep Impact, to those which have a warmer less harsh tone. I'm actually looking at borrowing my...

    Least favorite bassist?

he's actually pretty decent, he just plays a genre that doesn't necessarily require a lot of technical bass riffs. And i'd actually say that his personality makes up for any amount of mediocre bass playing he could dish out haha.

How many basses do you REALLY need?

i think it just depend on the person. I have 2 that I own, one fine tuned to be really bassy with a really beefy tone, and then another one with a bit of twang in it, thats also sounds better with effects. and I typically borrow a geddy lee as my backup, or for if i'm using a radically...

Whats the difference???? Fender vs. Squier

Right now the two basses that make up my live rig are a Fender 60th Anniversary Edition P-Bass Special, and a Squier P-Bass Special that I distressed, as well as replaced the pick ups with some basslines spb3's. The fender definitely sounds much better than the squier. Even the stock pickups...
