The Helix and other multis can be setup so you can assign some effects in front of the amp and others in the effects loop.

Yes. There is also 4 cable method to go in front and use the effects send and return.

Yeah, I space for playability first. Orientation to pu as a set not individual strings. Then height on pu to balance low and high to taste.

Kind of related: I am going to try going out from the headphone of the 40 to the aux in on Stage. Thinking: Set the 40 to a high passed distorted channel. Set the Stage clean and bass heavy. I have a gig lull coming up and will be trying it then.

Oh man. Best = best for me. I love the 95 MIMs. Supposedly, all Am parts due to fire. I have a Strat and a P that year. Both are my #1s. Hopefully people will chime in with other preferences.

When I play with a loud drummer, the 200 didn't cut it. It sounded great but not enough power. The 500 and 800 do not have any problems keeping up. Other - not as hard hitting drummers - the 200 does fine. No need to be so detailed about it IMO. It's just my impression as well as some others.
