Peavey Basic 112 is a great bedroom amp and they're all over for about $100 used. Older Fender Rumbles are good values as well. The Rumble 100 from the early 2000's (control panel faces front not up) have more power and a 15 instead of the 60/12 of the Peavey. Used they're around $200.
