As an owner of a special HH I can truly say this thing is a beast, it's very versatile and the 18v pre amp sounds amazing. I was also very surprised how lightweight it was compared to other basses I owned previously. At the end of the day this question of which one is "better" is very subjective...

Yes, I really liked color and the black hardware when I saw it online so fortunately my local shop had 1 in stock when I bought it.
