Can't tell you about a Bart preamp I chose to run an East Uni-Pre. However, in my research I found these to be the pairing for that early 55-94 tone.

I have 55-94 /55-02 LH3 pickups and preamp that I need to move along. Thought I'd let you all know before I list them in the classifieds this weekend. If interested you know what to do.

Just so you know the Bart MM pickup (DL5CBC) is a dual-coil MM You need the Bart DL522CBJD3 2J Squared, Quad-Coil. The LH3 MM like its predecessor the Bartolini, is and was a quad-coil. It is quite cool you can wire it parallel inline and series and get some very interesting tones.

The Skyline 55-02 uses the Hipshot HB6C-1/2" Ultralite tuners. I don't have a dog but have grandchildren running through from time to time I keep my basses in a rack. The one out of the rack goes on this stand which is not that easy to knock over.

Can anyone tell me what year Lakland changed the toggle switch on the 55-XX series? The older fat one is bulletproof. I've had to change the newer one on two different basses. Just wondering why.
