So i'm just curious and looking into fretless basses. I play upright as well so the transition won't be a problem. However, the first fretless i played was lined and so that just did nothing but confuse the hell out of me, so what i'm wondering is what fretless basses are out there for under...

If i remember correctly, his bass is a Guild Starfire Bass that Alembic completely overhauled! He must get the exact tone anyone would want.

I personally use Ultimate-Guitar and if the tab is junk or if its not completely accurate, i can usually figure it out by ear as long as the tab gives me the basic idea. Or i just don't use tabs.

I was wondering how many of you guys do this. Play a guitar solo, in a song on bass or not? Not sure if right place for this, move if needed.

Thats impressive. I have Schecter Stiletto Custom, and a Dean Exotica Acoustic, with possibly an Ibanez BTB 776 on the way. Guitar wise, i have a BC Rich Masterpiece Bich, and some cheap Ibanez Acoustic.

Im hoping to look into finding some replacement hardware for my schecter stiletto custom 5, but for my particular finish, ALL of the hardware is in flat gold. No gloss coat. Just flat gold. And i have not found 1 sight that sells flat gold hardware. And by hardware, i mean knobs, and tuning...

IMO it depends if it is gloss black or flat black. Ive always loved how flat black looks but gloss black, not so much.

Im not a p bass fan but thats a beauty!
