Yes, it's clearcoated. If you've seen/felt the Classic Vibe 60's, it's exactly the same tint and feel.

I love my Fiesta Red Squier Classic Vibe 60’s P-Bass, so I decided I would get the one in Sonic Blue. Cool, at first, but I got a little bored and changed a couple of things on the latter. I switched out the pickup for the SD QP and electronics with vintage wiring, CTS pots, switchcraft...

Love the color! I've got a P body coming from the paint shop in a similar, if not the same, color.

This^ I mean it IS an American Standard with a different PG and different control mounting. I do like it though!

I actually like the holoflake on this quite a bit. On a side note, this new talk bass iPhone app makes it VERY simple to upload photos.

I can't wait to show you guys what I'm doing with my classic vibe 60's P. After everything, I've probably spent close to $800 including the original bass, but I know I will LOVE it.

My red sparkle 300 delivers today and my black sparkle 305 delivers Monday, BOTH at 17.6 lbs.

Does anyone know what string sizes come stock on the 300s and 305s? Thanks.

I couldn't pass up the 305 either. I got the red sparkle 300 yesterday and just got the 305, both for under $312.
