Matt Freeman Squier Sig!!!!!

internal - VM P basses are Maple or Agathis and have Duncan Designed PUs

This is true for the most part. The VM Tele Bass has a basswood body with ash veneer. The CVs are basswood (pine for the new butterscotch CV 50s P).

The VM pickups are Duncan Designed, with the exception of the VM Tele Bass, which has a "Fender designed" humbucker. The CV pickups are listed in the specs merely as "custom".

Same price as the Classic Vibe Ps, cool. So much for the hullabaloo about it supposedly costing more.;)

Alright, I am very glad to eat my words about this. :) It feels good being wrong.

You can't blame me for being suspicious, though. Think of the Roger Waters sig... it's a MIM P with ONE pickup upgrade and they're charging 800 bucks for it. Luckily, this doesn't appear to the case with the Freeman model. :) Cheers!

I didn't recall exactly who said what, but there was certainly more than one person who believed they'd be pricier. So my comment wasn't directed at anyone in particular. In any case, no worries.:)
