Awesome! I got the same thing from Sweetwater, only with a Rosewood fingerboard. Love Sweetwater - and my new Fender.

I picked up a Lakland P/J Custom, and while it plays nice, I didn't like the pickups either. I wound up swapping them out and now it's a beast. It's also on Craigslist as the project that I got it for didn't work out.

Yup, those are easily my two favorite.
