I have a little Drive amp if I feel like playing outside on the deck, I have a Behringer BX600 (that sounds way tinny) set up in my Living room. I love my Peavey TKO 80 that's in the studio, and the Hartke system at rehearsal and bigger clubs

i think there is a difference between not liking someones style, and thinking they're over rated. I also think a bass player should fit the Band he is in. Dee Dee Ramone was a great Bass player....great for the Ramones. Fit perfectly. I don't think He would have fit so fell in a band like Dream...

that's cool! some of my favorite basses are my cheaper ones. I bought a Squier P to leave at rehearsal so I can ride my Harley back and forth (it was cheaper than 2 tanks of gas in my F150) and I really love that bass.

I think it would be a cool bass to add to my collection. I also collect guns so it would sorta be like killing 2 birds with one stone. lol it's cool in a gimmickie sort of way. i'm not ready to dump off one of my Spectors to buy it, but It's cool none the less

I have both, and love both. One of my Spectors has active EMG's (P-J combo) sounds killer. My Ibanez SD400QM has active PUP's sounds great. My Fender MIM "P" is passive sounds great. It's just different great. It's all a matter of taste. I just bought the Ibanez on a whim, so i'm playing that...

Im interested. Just back into playing after a decade off. Picked up an SR400QM in Lavenderburst yesterday. I think it's going to replace my Spector Legend as my most played. Somehow everytime I aquire an Ibanez it seems to go straight to the top of my list :-)

I have basses from $175 to $1800. I tend to play my Squire P bass as much as any of the others. It's not about money. I love my Spector NS2 the most, but I play the Squire and my Ibanez SD400QM the most. Bass snobs are the only ones that will even notice, so who cares?
