If this issue really bugs you to the point that you want to invest a little bit of time, open the pedal up and switch the inputs. Either re-solder or physically switch the inputs if the wires allow for it. Then take your handy dandy Sharpie pen and relabel the in/out to out/in. Just a suggestion.
