Most of the time their mouth is open and you can see some drool. Also, The Walking Dead, funny because that's what people walking while staring at their phones remind me of. Zombies
No, it's those damn cellphones frying our brains.people are getting older, faster, imo. i'm almost twice the age of my coworkers and they seem to be lagging like old farts. it's also scarey that half of my graduating classmates are dead or dying.
is the fast food killing us?
And this is why a 16 year old Qualcomm plain phone is in a 16 year old leather hold clipped to my pocket. IT IS A <DELETED EXPLETIVE YELLED LOUDLY> PHONE. Me and our guitarist/keyboardist have normal phones and note the addicted folks everywhere staring at their screens like zombies. Got 2 brand new ones for $5 each on eBay as backups, already used one for its battery. The biggest thing that makes me feel too old is the total disconnect with the CELL PHONE BORG culture. In addition to that, I get terrible road rage every time I witness TWD in action. It blows my mind that anyone could even consider being that irresponsible....total "get off my lawn" reaction.
Yes along with the medical cartel and pharma. They like patients for a lifetime of income.....is the fast food killing us?

I realized I was getting old when one day I was sitting on the couch with excruciating stomach pain like I was about to have explosive diarrhea. so as I got up, and the pain started to subside, I realized I had just been sitting on my balls.
Jonathon Livingston Seagull? I remember him. BAHH!Threads have a life of their own. Is this going to turn into discussion or rantabout smart phones? I'm okay if it does, I'm not in charge around here.
I say flip phone were so much better than the garbage they fost on us these days. I always felt like I was about to say "Beam me up Scotty" when I flipped open that phone. YEAAHHH!
Bring back a Flock of Seagulls.
Really. They just don't make'm like they used to!That poll is too long.

TB is as close as I can get to social media. I have tried a couple of the larger sites and just cannot see the benefit. Signal/noise ratio is pathetic. The biggest thing that makes me feel too old is the total disconnect with the CELL PHONE BORG culture. I can not for the life of me understand what the shagging fascination is with being "connected" at all times. Connected to what? Other people's banal brainfarts? To me it just equates with being distracted. How do these people ever hold a thought long enough to actually accomplish anything?
In addition to that, I get terrible road rage every time I witness TWD in action. It blows my mind that anyone could even consider being that irresponsible....total "get off my lawn" reaction. Sign me up for the nursing home now, I guess....
As they obliviously step into traffic..Most of the time their mouth is open and you can see some drool.
I commute on a motorcycle. The bike I ride when it's miserable and rainy is a loud single cylinder dual sport. It's ratty looking, and ratty sounding. Sometimes, it's a lot of fun to ride on sunny days because you can get the cell phone zombies to jump by coasting up next to them when they are moseying across the road and I'm trying to make a turn, then blipping the throttle. BWAAAAAP! BWAAAAP! Yeah, I'm juvenile. It's people like me that's ruining this country. Most of the time their mouth is open and you can see some drool.
I just have a loud piercing voice. No wimpy ding, ding bell on my bicycle for me. If I am about to get squished I let out with a traffic stopping YO, YO, YO! Blood curdling screams of sheer terror work well too but those are involuntary. That's the good thing about the bike. My wife won't get on it, so I don't have to apologize. If she ever saw me do something like that, she would be completely unimpressed.
The other juvenile trick I had for a while was to rent a Harley Davidson every now and then. The floorboards are low, which means the drag easily. Going around a street corner all flopped over and dragging floorboards was always good for a reaction. Sparks, scraping noises, Harley noise. It was fun. I mostly save my bad behavior for people who have it coming, usually on account of cell phone use or just gabbing and napping. Just recently, I did a good BWAAAAAP next to the rolled down window of a couple women who would not turn right. They just wouldn't. I don't know why. Not paying attention, I guess. Lane splitting is a useful combat riding technique, especially when you can aim the artillery exhaust at the offender's ears. I'm probably THAT guy as far as everyone else on the road is concerned.
