When the Drop is engaged the buffer is on, so that could be messing with your downstream dirt. I know this goes against what the manual says, but try the Drop post-dirt and see what happens.

FYI the Updated 440 has a Direction Mode for the sweep, not a bass mode.

Congrats! I had several local bassists beta test the White before release and I got lots of positive feedback. I tried to make it more than just a typical boost.

The Updated Meatbox is true bypass for the dry and millennium bypass for the wet, on the TRS output. Does the clone have TRS out? If not I'd go with the update or Mantic

Yeah sorry, $20 N2, tin-can LM741, capacitor network, texture toggle, oxided tops, and hand-building really drive the price up. Fortunately there are a ton of basic 250's out there.
