need help on making a decision on amps

Yea I say go Acoustic. You can buy the bh200 head and b115 together for 400 on GC or MF online. And then buy a B410 for 300. Which leaves you with 300 extra to spend on FUN stuff

Please, tell me what amp to buy.

Eden Head...thats my vote. Great clean tone. Never played through that cab though

    8 Ohm or 4?

I could just get two 2x10s at 4 ohms each. So i would have a 410 all together

    8 Ohm or 4?

So I'm currently trying to run a biamp set up, but sometimes for smaller gigs i would only want one cab. I am running an Eden WT 400 @ 4 Ohm and the other head is a '68 Bassman its 50 tube watts (I'm assuming its a 4 Ohm head) Now the question I have is the cabs. I just purchased an Acoustic...

    Ampeg SVT Classic

Question...Is running my 8ohm cab off my 4ohm head bad for my head or cab? Is it bad for my "transformer"?

    OHM SWEET OHM HELP, PLEASE

are there any more 1/4 inch outs? You could probably play it through a 4 ohm, but you could just get an 8 ohm and be safe...then later add another 8 ohm cab, if it's truly a 4 ohm head

    Cincy GTG 10!

I'll be bringing my vintage bassman to mess around with, so we could use that for a guitar amp if we wanted

    3 heads, which one?

Look for used stuff (Got my Eden head for 350)....But if you want new or out of your list, I would go Carvin as well

looking into having a seperate cab for my distortion sound

I'm also getting ready to start playing a biamp setup An Eden WT400 through an 4x10 Acoustic cab and a bassman 50 through my current Marshall 1960a 4x12...but i'm thinking about switching to another Acoustic 410 or something other than the Marshall. But i was told you could just use the tone...

    Show your old Bassman!

Nice clean rig johnk_10! I too have a Bassman (50), I'll probably never sell it great tone I love the natural overdrive...I bass my entire tone and playing style off of it. I'm currently looking into biamping my bassman with an Eden WT400. Has anyone else biamped with a Bassman?
