    Peavey MegaBass Club

A Peavey Megabass + matching 1516 cab is floating around in the local adds. Reading about those in this thread realling makes me want to try my luck and make it compete with my Trace Elliott stack

New Preamp Project: Standalone B15-N (with t00b!)

Thanks buddy! Someone over the Weber forum did the Schematic and I've then done the layout to my taste. Every parts (including the Amveco tranny) was bought on Allied Electronics website (awesome service, I recommend them) Invalid Link Removed

New Preamp Project: Standalone B15-N (with t00b!)

Sup folks! Thought that this subforum was the best place to post this. Since I've put my Weber amp project on hold, waiting for me to get better with electronics, I've been getting into pedal building, wich I should had done before taking on a project like a whole amp. I've built two BYOC...

New SQUIER VM series! (Part 2)

Sorry for the time the answer took to arrive, haven't checked this board at all during the weekend. As I stated in the previous thread, I ain't a bass reference since my only other bass I owned/played on is my Ibanez SR305, wich is about on par quality wise. So when I compare them: - The...

    New SQUIER VM series!!

As I stated in your thread, I believe that its the way the pickguard is routed, especially since your strings seems aligned to the poles of the Jazz pickup, I would rule the bridge out from being the culprit

NBD Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar V Bass w/ Review

Your strings are really really off from the poles, thats weird, I've checked mine and the strings could hardly be more aligned to the poles... maybe the pickguard isn't cut well? It can hardly be the bridge... Anyway, glad that you like this instrument, its really is a killer deal, I doubt that...

    New SQUIER VM series!!

1: No more battery! 2: One less knob, a personnal plus since I thought that the one closest to the string was too close for my playing style (aka playing with a pick) 3: Coming from the guitar realm, I'll say without a shame that I'm a huge fan of full passive circuit. I don't hate active, but...

    New SQUIER VM series!!

I'm interested in reading your review guys I jammed for the second time with mine yesterday but I've done a little mod since the last one: I removed the active preamp. I can take a picture of it if people are interested, but I can tell for sure that I suffered a little loss in output and...
