I adore my Ultra.. Also got the Texas Tea. Lots of controls compared to some of my other basses, but so far, I have got everything one of my favorite sounds out of this guitar.

That's a fantastic idea! I like picks sometimes, but you lose the "thump" and texture of fingering. A leather pick could very well be the best of both worlds!
