I just strung up a jazz bass with a set a week ago, and I agree with all the posts above. They have lots of growl for a flatwound, and a lot of tension. I had to make a big trussrod adjustment after changing from D'Addario XL's. I think the set I have are 45-105.

+1. I have had fewer problems with the Citristrip if I did more coats for less time. I left one on over an hour and a half because it wasn't penetrating the thick orange coat on the headstock, and it went through the clear coat and hit the decals. This was on an SJB-57. Fortunately for me, Kurt...

I talked to Jason Finley at GK yesterday. He said they expect the MB212 to arrive at GK next week to be shipped out to retailers. They are in transit from the China facility now. Happy Holidays to all of us who ordered one months ago.
