Okay so I know how to play knights of cydonia but I can't play it up to speed. If I play with my fingers I hit the notes but eventually lag out. If I play with a pick, idk i just can't pick with a pick that fast without hitting the other strings. Help? Obviously i need something to help me with...

Okay so I took my strings off so I could clean my bass because it was really really dirty. This is a new bass, and I have yet to change the strings on it. I have installed bass strings many times, but this issue seems to come up every now and then. I have no idea how i ever resolve the issue...
