Smash that Jazz bass to pieces!

A bass player in a local punk band years ago got into a fight with the guitarist and swung his bass at him. Guitarist backed up, bass hit the PA stack and busted into a million pieces. Hahaha! Was a Fender American made. All parties were obviously wasted. Then the dude was out back later loading...

Anyone know where Cliff Burtons basses are?

Just out of curiousity does anyone know where his basses are? Are they in a museum? His parents have them? He mainly played the Aria, but probably had lots of others. If anyone has info or a link I'd appreciate It. Thanks.

I play a Thunderbird, and 2 Dean V basses. Granted my bird sounds way better than my V's, but I've yet to gig it is this a decent setup for...

Well Polished or Beat to Hell?

I see some players polishing thier basses with a diaper, while others (like me) let it take its natural course. So what's the point in being so fanatical about polishing your bass? Maybe its like a car, some like bling, others r point A to point B. So whats your style and why? Just curious.

    Are Waricks overrated?

I've never felt anything playing them, and for the price I should. I get more of a thrill kill outta my cheap Dean V basses. So why is Warick so popular? Are they aimed for a specific type of playing? To me they feel light and cheap and don't sound all that great. Just curious to the phenomina...

Thurderbird score at the pawn shop

Today picked up an Epiphone Thunderbird. Barely played, nice sunburst finish. Got it for 175. Out the door, thought i did well. Actually I'm loving it. Previous owner fixed the neck dive problem by relocating the strap lower, even came with strap locks. My main question is stupid, but it has 3...

Can I fix this GK 600 bass head???

I basically got it free. The input where you plug in your bass is broken. Im pretty experienced at fixing things and soldering. My question is this- I opened it up n noticed that the "tuner" input is identical to the input switch. I don't plan on using the tuner function, can I just un-solder...
