ummmm arent there octave differences between guitars and basses?? which would probably mean the f# string on a guitar would sound something at the range of f# on the e string of a bass guitar... well anyways... i think an open low f# wont be really audible and probably would be just good to give...

i was learning bar chords on my guitar one day and just kinda saw the relation between the fourth finger when playing a bar chord on guitar and chord on bass... after i asked my cousin whether my theory was correct (which of course was) i just picked up a bass and thumped away and i knew love...

had almost the same kind of experience last month... but instead of my fifth sting it was the D string and that too just before a bass solo... i did the same thing, ripped it off the bass... now this is where it gets funny, my bass went out of tune and somehow i couldnt work out the fingering...

my friends friend is selling his schecter tribal devil bass... he bought it somewhere around 2004... the body and the electronics are in good condition but the metal parts of the bass has developed rusts (should be able to remove the rusts with oiling and chroming)... now ive asked him to give...

the story just motivated me with more GAS pains as now im going out to look for a hand me downable bass guitar which my kids can inherit when they start playing bass... *counting money and trying to figure out the total value of all my basses and the amp*

I'd recommend a schecter anyday... its got EMGs and they are way underrated than what u actually get... they play beautifully and sounds just as beautiful if not more... Else, Ibanez edb series... the are light and they sound aggressive enough the necks are awesome... I have a schecter elite 5...

this guy comes up to me after our gig and tells me dude ure the life of the band... the same nite this other dude comes up to me says ive never seen such lively bassists before... :hyper::hyper:
