This is the first and also last Mac I've purchased. :p It still works, so I haven't bothered to build a new PC. Logic has been super easy for recording live instruments, but I just didn't know how to get it set up to program drums until I really seriously set my mind to it today.

It's one of my favorites, but I mainly picked it because I just figured out how to program drums in Logic and the drums are super easy on this song. :laugh::roflmao:

So, I decided to mess around with recording a cover song today just for something to do. I pulled out the Exquisite bass that I haven't done anything to aside from tune it up, and laid down a bass track, and I've got to say I'm actually impressed! I don't know if I'll do any mods to it at all...

I received the same for my green Strat-type. My delivery date is my birthday, so here's hoping it's accurate. At least Chicago is an easy days drive from my house, so it's closer than my sunburst bass that was delivered to an address in Miami.

It may be possible that there's been a disconnect between the shipping labels and tracking numbers. I guess if a completely different instrument shows up on my porch tomorrow, that'd be the most reasonable scenario. I kind of doubt it, though.

I honestly hadn't even thought about adjusting the spring tension on the vibrato, but perhaps I've just been lucky. I've never knocked it out of tune even with heavy use of the bar. Maybe the fact that I've left the bridge alone as far as rocking has something to do with that, though.

I unboxed them yesterday, and I have to say I'm almost impressed! One of them has the pickup mounted a bit wonky, and I'm not a fan of the thickness of the necks, but they don't sound half bad even as is!

Oh man, that sounds great! I've been running my VI through a Peavey MkIII Standard head, which has both a bass and a guitar channel, and this sounds like a great solution!
