it looks like he spent a lot on producing it , the real shame is you can watch it for nothing on youtube, well for him, anyway.

Flea just has 'IT' the feel and the groove, you can't learn or fake it, sure people can stick a bunch of bebop licks together but if you aint got that 1% of magic it means nothing. hes up there with Mingus, Jaco, Miles, Bird, Hendrix, muddy waters, eric clapton.....

yea, i really like the look of the AC s as they look more like the 60s fenders. im really into the Jaco thang, i love jazz, but i also love R&B and soul, funk etc. i think the 60s give a little of the darker sound thats imo nicer to solo in as well.

yes, im really not into parts basses, if i wanted one id buy an All Parts body and neck and then get my local luthier to set it up for me for a few beers! i prefer to have the uniqueness of a bass maker that builds most if not all the body and neck inhouse, just a personal thang, i dont want to...

yep i agree and anyhow, where did this 'jazz bass on steroids' quote originate? Jaco got his tone from a fender jazz bass, he made his fender sound on steroids through his fingers, he didnt need a boosting preamp. He played a Fender Jazz bass and he sounded awesome on it, as did 10s of thousands...

yea, look at what Fender basses did to Jaco & James Jamerson, there'd both probably still be alive if they had played 'mid scooped' Sadowskys

yea whatever you do don't get the previous model, the 08 models are a huge improvement on the older models, unless you an get a real 80s one.
