Sorry:bassist::hiding::hyper:

Beautiful. Rock hard Man ! :bassist:

is there a big difference apart from the price between valenti and sadowsky basses in sound, feel and build ? are the parts of the same quality?

I realize I'm answering an 8-day-old question from somebody who's been temp. banned, probably for the semi-trollish attitude shown here, :) but I'll answer anyway:

The Valenti I currently own has better build quality and feel than the Sadowsky Metro I owned for a while. Now to be fair, I'm pretty sure that particular Sadowsky was not a great representation of Sads, and of course no representation at all of the build/feel of the NYC Sads. I'm just saying in my particular experience the Valenti is better (IMO, for me, etc.).

I'm in the middle of finalizing specs on another Valenti right now. Hopefully in the next week or two we'll get everything figured out. At this point, I'm being kind of a pain in the butt and throwing out ideas of changing pickups/configuration around.

What I do know for sure, though, is that it'll have a spalted/flamed maple top, a swamp ash body, birdseye maple neck and board, black hardware, and an Aguilar OBP-1.

I cant wait to get my bass from Nino.. PATIENCE... I must learn patience.. :)

you know whats funny, i was gonna ask you whats the name of that pastel red color ever since i sent you that email asking you about your custom basses. is it fiesta red?

god thats beautiful :x

thats one of my favorite colors, itll prolly be the color of my next bass, add a black/tort guard and a maple neck and itll be my dream bass.

So what's new in the world of Valenti basses? It's been a while since I've seen a thread or a post about someone excited with their new Valenti. Anyone out there get one here recently?

I just got Valenti #79, from a fellow TBer.

It is one of the nicest playing and sounding J-basses I've ever owned.
That includes.
Real 70's Fender
CS Fender
Lull
Lakland
Nash.

Valenti basses are a great deal for the money.

I'm pretty sure it's Coral Salmon Pink.

The color is called Coral.

Red is notorious for fading no matter if its on a tshirt, or paint, or how many times do you see old coca-cola bottles on the street faded to a orangish color.

This is what Coral was to represent, what Fiesta Red looks like after its faded...

There is no pink about this bass Nino :) its more of a orange color..
