I've found the string emporium to have way cheaper prices than anywhere else I've seen including quinn. I know their spirocores are at least 15$ cheaper than anywhere else last time I checked.

You might as well get a set of spirocore mittels. Their not the cheapest, but they will last you a very long time which will make up for the extra 50$ you'll spend compared to the Corelli's or Helicores, In my opinion.

Get the MB112. You won't regret it.

I've had the MAG300 head for 3-4 years, pretty damn reliable amp. Never had any problems. I would get F-deck's HPF pre-amp though. This amp in particular does color the sound and it COULD be difficult for you to fight if you don't have this pre-amp.
