this^^^^ I think in the long run you will be better served by making this about both of you rather than just him. The two of you getting together will make you a stronger unit and the whole band will benefit from that.

I would leave the band. Play what makes you happy and you can influence people by the way the way you live your life.

It definitely gets easier the more you play. When I first started gigging I stared at my feet all night and after the 5th or 6th gig I started to get more comfortable. Keep gigging and you'll be fine.

I'm not sure I fully understand what you're asking here but with a passive DI you will plug your instrument cable into the input and then run a mic cable from the xlr output on the DI to the input on the mixing board. You should also be able to use the 1/4" output to go to your amp if you also...

I just recently picked up one of these cabs and I love it. I use mine with a SVTIII Pro and it sounds great. I like it better than my Aguilar 212. I'm looking for another one to pair up with it.

Yep. Played a gig in DC on a rooftop that overlooked the White House. We had to get background checks ahead of time and there were Secret Service guys on the buildings around us. It was pretty cool.

DWBass has it right. Your adapter is 1/4" stereo to 1/8" stereo. You will still need a 1/4" mono to 1/4" stereo adapter or you may even be able to find a 1/4" mono to 1/8" stereo adapter. I'm not sure if you live near a Radio Shack but they usually have adapters of all kinds.

I'm with you on this one! There was a band around here that sounded EXACTLY the same on every song. It was hard for me to tell when one song ended and the next one started. Needless to say, I didn't stay very long.

Honesty is usually the best policy. Just tell them you enjoyed your time with them but have decided to move on. They might be a little upset at first but I'm sure they will respect you more if you're honest.
