Hi Guys,
I just thought I should respond to the dozens (1000's???) of leads you've sent recently. I suppose I need a "pending" list to keep track of them all.
Every instrument I add to this list is a new webpage with photos and at least one link to verify the basses existence. So every manufacturer requires some research and time to build and link the page. So it takes at least 15 mins to add and link one entry and often can take an hour as I get lost doing research or cropping photos.
What I'm looking for is good quality photos and links to static pages. I'm a bit reluctant to link to blogs, FB, myspace and forums and such. I'm mostly looking for the original manufacturer's site and/or vintage websites and wiki pages.
I should add that there are lots of great builders out there with not so great websites. If any of you out there would like some help or even a critique, I'm glad to help. I'm pretty good with XHTML, PHP, mySql and am getting better with CSS. I can also help with web hosting and domain management, if you don't want to be bothered.
For everyone adding instruments, please check the master list at Link Removed as I do see a lot people mentioning basses already on the list.
If your suggestion doesn't appear after a week or so, it could be that I haven't gotten there yet. Or it could be that my research hit a dead end. So please provide links when you can.
Thanks to all! This is a fun project.
Terri
