1958 Fender Precision

Do it and be done with it. Let moving all that trade merchandise be the store's/seller's problem. You could probably net more for your trade items by selling them on your own, but that's doing it the hard way. Let the profit vultures fight over that stuff. If you can make the trade, do it and don't look back.

I like this guy.

Honestly, the time and money with fees it will cost to move 7 basses could really add up, and the 58/59 vintage P in question could be gone by then. Plus, if OP ever feels the itch, it's not like he can't replace any of the basses he's trading away. They're all pretty easy to find IMO. I see Custom Shop basses all day that just sit on Ebay waiting to get snatched up.

I just read every post here and was bummed to reach the end without the deal being sealed. DO IT ALREADY!! So what if you're losing a couple hundred this way vs. selling all that stuff on it's own? It's so much less of a hassle because you're making one huge dump and you're getting a killer dream bass. It sounds like an ideal scenario for you. And I couldn't care less about one of these things not coming in it's original case. I'd rather put it in a new flight case or Mono bag anyway. Those old cases are kinda gross.

The 59 will keep rising in value. The same is unlikely to happen with the stuff you are gonna trade in.

If you're not using the other stuff then it's just clutter. Kinda.

Selling the other gear piece by piece costs time and effort. That has value too.

I like both of these guys. :)
