My A4's came in today! 4 weeks to the day, perfect estimate.
Sound quality is amazing! Initially I thought they were REALLY bass heavy and boomy. Then I realized my Spotify EQ had the bass jacked to compensate for my other headphones. Upon fixing that they sound so freaking good!
It took me a minute or so to figure out how to get them in. Then it took me a minute to figure how to get them out! Had a good freak out.
Left side feels nice and snug. Went in and came out super easy. Right side though, felt like it had something sharp on it. They were also a lot harder to get on and out. They don't sit in the ear the same as the left. Almost feels like they arent in all the way even though they are and the isolation feels the same. I'm not sure if it's a flaw on the mold/earpiece that's causing it to be uncomfortable or just my ears themselves being overly sensitive.
Upon closer inspection it seems the ports that allow the sound into the ear aren't completely rounded and have a good amount of sharp edge to them that the left side doesn't have, that's what I think is the 'sharp' feeling in my ear.
Lastly, I see a lot of people saying how they don't feel them in their ears during extended use. I can pretty much forget about them as well, but as soon as I open my mouth like during a yawn, or move my jaw around side or side they just get scratchy and uncomfortable.
I'm really not sure how much of this is normal 'break in' or getting used to them, and how much is just not right to begin with.
Anyway, here are mine. The red ear has the 64 Audio logo on them in black and is pretty much impossible to see at all. But I love the wine red. The other side is translucent black and hard to photograph
