It's my rig VBA 400 and VBC810 and it's sound amazing (not pillowy at all) I'm really surprised to read something like this.

I'm very curious to hear the 1992Lem in my 810. I sure the result would sounds great!

I got a mint condition VBA 400 with an ATA flight case for $1500 off ebay then got a VBC412 box off GC for $500.
They are a terrific bass amp and I play with 2 guitarists, both with 50w Marshalls and quad boxes.

I used to gig with a Super 100 Bass for years, plenty loud with a 2x15 and a 4x12. I later moved on to a Marshall Major (200w) that was my main amp for over 25 years. These days I run Hiwatt DR201s they are plenty loud! I still have the old Major Get the Lemmy you won't regret it.
