Just wanna see if I'm alone here. I don't watch much TV, but this was a show I liked. Enough so that I gave it a go with Ashton Kutcher, even though I never liked him. I thought the first few new episodes were funny. I also thought they started turning Alan into an incredibly unlikeable, cheap, stupid, evil moron. Then they started doing that with every character. Past few episodes I didn't laugh once. Vomit humor? Bad, not funny, sex jokes. Women with no likable qualities, except for Walden's lady who's kinda cute. Sometimes. Do they have new writers? Are they trying to appeal to a new audience, maybe 16 year olds, and I'm just not getting it? This is reminding me of Saturday Night Live....

and I really miss Rose.

They're off my record list.

I've watched a think three episodes since Kutcher came on. They were ok at best. I still DVR all old episodes and when there's nuthin' else on that's what I turn to. That, or Good Eats. Haha

I think the show is finished - not funny since Charlie left - at all IMO.

It's nowhere near as good as the early seasons were but neither were the past couple of seasons.

Haven't seen a Kutcher episode yet, I have seen a few of the shows with Charlie Sheen. I really don't think I'm missing much by not seeing the new shows so don't watch. I'd rather see a good home improvement show (if they build something) or maybe like Eric, Food!

Michael Kelso in Malibu is what I'm seeing. The characters are so shallow, and a billionare who just happens to buy Charley's house, and keep the two morons and houskeeper around ..... come on.

I prefer Chuck Lorre's other show 'The Big Bang Theory'. Mostly because Im a nerd, but Im not that big of a nerd.

^ +1 Big Bang - Jim Parsons brings Sheldon to life, and I sure don't mind staring at the girls on that show,

I agree - that show became "That 70's Show -- The Later Years" when Kutcher joined. (EDIT: Solarmist and I are of the same mind.) Yes, the jokes are now predictable and lame. I don't know what happened, but we stopped watching it after giving it a few episodes. It got replaced with "New Girl" on Fox, which is hilarious.

Couldn't agree more.....the old show is on from 7 to 8 every weekday on CW11 in MA and then the new one comes on at 9 on Monday I think? Seeing them back to back really makes you want to throw something at the set....

That vomit thing was just totally stupid. Boy have they turned Alan's GF into a total mess.

Charlie Sheen may have his share of problems but he was the anchor for that show....it's now like a big Russian satellite in a decaying orbit waiting to burn up on re-entry.

My gal loves the show. The old show. We talked about who would be best to replace Sheen before they had Aston. I think for the smarmy, yet likable type only Vince Vaughn could have pulled it off as well as Charlie did. My gal doesn't watch any more.

I mean, how stupid would they be to try and continue the show without Charlie, be almost as daft as keeping 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter going after John Ritter died...

I stopped watching the show when Charlie Sheen left. I have no interest in the new version. They should have just cancelled the show instead of trying to keep on.

I think Lorre was too pompous to simply allow Sheen an "I win" moment by folding. Turns out, Sheen's victory is probably even more sweet because the show tanked, IMHO.

That was so sad when John Ritter died, and I liked 8 Simple Rules / Threes Company.

I lost anything but a superficial interest in the show some years ago. If it was on, sure. If I missed it, I didn't care and never wondered what happened on the show.

His new show Anger Management could be interesting though

Funny... Charlie Sheen being Charlie Sheen and getting paid big for it! The didn't even come up with new first name for him. They should have just let it die when he left. I guess my opinion is a big 'whatever'
