Hey, Ross.Hi Guys,
Ross from Two notes here. Great thread everyone!
Yes, OPUS is rated for 100W max but remember your amp is not putting out 100W the moment you turn it on, providing you keep your master volume lower, you can still integrate OPUS into your rig. Alternatively - if your Amp features an FX loop, you can add OPUS there and use our poweramp emulation to further refine your tone - that way, you get over the Wattage hurdle. Please note, as a bass player myself, I understand your concerns regarding driving your poweramp, however I have OPUS in the loop of my amp and I get a great DI tone from this setup scenario!
@RobertAuCoin, great question! I have just dropped a note to one of our specialists and we will revert back ASAP!
Myself and @AmyTwonotes are always monitoring our forums so if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let us know!
Can i ask a bit about this feature. It's obviously a big selling point as it's called out in most media
I have an amoeg pf20-T. 20 tube watts.
Can i put the opus in between this head and the cab? The head can run withiut any load. Do i still need to attach the speaker or can i go speaker output-> opus DI?
Would i blow up my opus in either of those scenarios?
