2013-2014 NHL playoffs thread.

Nope, but the Kings magical run of stellar defense is over. As I said before, LA will need to score four or five goals to win games, and Lundqvist just won't give that many up in a single game in the next round.

Could LA win a game? They sure can. But they aren't going to score more goals than the Rangers in four games.

They only need it to carry them for four games. Rangers in four. :D

:woot:

Rangers in 7.

There's still a chance.

No excuses for the Rangers in game 3. Nobody is talking about it but Quick is making all the big saves and Lundqvist isn't. Lots of talk about Hank having "no chance" on the Kings goals because of "puck luck" but Quick seems to be able to stop the deflections, Quick seems to be able to make the saves he isn't supposed to be making and Quick has simply been better than the "King."

Maybe the Rangers can get one win so the Kings can win at home. I love watching teams win the cup at home.

I'd rather the Kings win it tomorrow. I've got a good chance of getting a ticket for the game so I'd love to see the Kings skate the cup. I've lived in New York for the past 12 years but grew up in So Cal so I've been a Kings fan all my life. 93 crushed me when they lost to the Habs (and I still haven't forgiven McSorely for that curved stick in Game 2 of the finals that year...but I digress....) so it was definitely sweet when they finally won it all two years ago. But to do it tomorrow night (and to actually be there for it) would be a dream come true.

Not to mention I would prefer the Rangers get zero momentum. Teams can overcome a 3-0 series deficit. Just ask the Kings. ;)

Anything can happen tomorrow. I just hope the Kings are able to finish what they started. Give New York 0 chance of a comeback or momentum shift because that's what can change any series. Ask LA. Ask San Jose. Ask Pittsburgh. Ask Chicago.

You mean the entire Kings team is going to contract gonorrhea and they will have to forfeit the game?

Anything can happen, yes, but the Rangers are not the Kings.

Goaltenders get a lot of blame, and a lot of praise - but sometimes, like on Richards' goal - how do you stop it?

Kings are, by far, a superior team. But, as we know, that doesn't translate into wins. It was a weird feeling I had - the last Cup run by the Kings and this run - I had the same weird feeling - that they would win the Cup. Nothing can be taken for granted yet - despite the 3-0 lead. It's been a great run so far this post-season by the Kings.

Go, Kings go!

I was digging in my drawer today for some change and came across this. I thought I would share these with you guys. It's a 1989-90 Kings Media Guide. Here are some autographs I got as a 15 year old. No bandwagon fans here.
