After lunch hockey on the west coast today, DET/BOS. That should be a good one.

5-0! I've officially jumped on the Avs bandwagon again. Good to see them with some fire... It's been a while.
They are real, the bruins played well against them and lost. If the keeper continues to play at that level, the avs will be tough to beat.
Sweet! A matchup of two top picks from the last draft. You'll get a good look at Aleksander Barkov who lit up the Pens the other night.

I wanted Barkov so bad I could taste it. I'm glad we landed with Jones though. He's been lights out so far, and I'm really hoping he can keep it up.
And he netted his first NHL goal the other night on the PP. The kid's good, I just hope he can live up to the expectations of "the best ever" and the comparison to guys like Lidstrom.

Flyers lose again to make it 1-6 on the season. They actually deserved better tonight. I thought they played an inspired game, and Mason was excellent. The first goal the Canucks got took a crazy bounce off the boards to give Kessler an easy tap-in.
The "big guns" for the Flyers still can't buy a goal though. Tye McGinn scored both Flyers goals. At the very least, they should have picked up one point, but it wasn't to be.
