They just emailed saying yes, they do sell them. I couldn't figure why they wouldn't. And I will take your advice regarding MF.

If it is a bundle of strands, a needle can be used to push it through to the back. If it is a rip, that is something else. I once had some cloth with a knot tied in a strand. It wasn't a big deal but my eye kept being drawn to it. I had to change it out.

Good to hear, I was hoping someone would add covers for the 112AV cabs to their roster. The side handle/bottom feet thing makes a cover for these a weird fit, I'll have to see how tuki designs them.

I have been meaning to mention this here - Ampeg's 410HE cover will fit on a 212AV. The handle cutouts do not align perfectly - but they work. I have an older 410HE cover, so it looks different, but the dimensions should be the same as the current black and white offerings. Here is my 212AV pictured wearing it's 410HE cover (and a Tuki cover on the V4B):

So there it is: an Ampeg V-4B, with a Portaflex stack.
It was rush rush today with getting the V-4B and all, so I didn't have time to demount de PF800.
My my my, what a sound!
I thought the PF800 sounded great, but is above and beyond.
Tried and played the V-4B before, but never in a gig...

The rest of the band commented thus:"Amazing sound Alex, really great! This is what a bass should sound like, but, could you turn it down a bit?"
(I was so loud - and I wasn't even trying - that the p.a. didn't need to turn the bass up...:D)
Have to miss the amp now for a week (vacation with the family), but there's another gig coming up in November!! :hyper:

112AV covers showed up this morning. Custom Amp Covers/ Tuki did a great job. These fit like a glove, great padded protection. Couldn't ask for anything better!. :) Invalid Link Removed

I have not, but if you're running out of headroom, more cabs is always the answer. But I've never mixed them so I don't know how they work together. Me, I go for matching cabs always.

Can't wait to gig this coming weekend!
One little thing, though: the feet of the V-4B are a bit too close to the edge of the cab for comfort.
So I'll be moving those feet an inch or so to the middle.
Maybe somewhere next year I am going to replace the PF cabs for 112 or 212 cabs, but no hurry.
This is tone heavendrool...
(I know it's a bit of old news but the V-4B really kills with the SVT210AV too! a bit too loud for homepractice, but hey...I didn't like my neighbours anyway :D)

I like the sound of tube overdrive, even at home!

I've ordered the 212 as it was only $150Aud more. Now I own both the 112 and 212, good to have options and seems to be a lot of love for the 212 more so than 2 112's. Hopefully this can will solve my head room issues. I ran it with a Neo fender 410 at my last gig and gain and master were fully cranked.I feel the 100t is a louder amp but am hoping with the 212 l get a richer more focused and present sound that will solve these minor issues. Other than that the v4b is totally a tone monster :-)

Don't want to disillusion you, but the 100T is not "louder" than the V4B. I owned both for a while and the V4B was definitely louder for the clean tone that I prefer. The 100T is a great amp but seemed to break up earlier and less harmoniously than the V4B, which is why I sold it and kept the V4B. Mind you, both go pretty darned loud anyway.
