I can't resist to share another photo of that amp with my AV57 standing next to it.
The tones I can get with that bass and the V4B are AMAZING!

I have a V4B Reissue head & 2 212AV cabinets

Should I connect the two cabs daisy chaining or use both speaker outs on the head? Please explain.

The two 2 Ω speaker output
jacks are wired in parallel. Use a single
jack when using one 2 Ω speaker
cabinet. Use both speaker jacks when
using two 4 Ω speaker cabinets. If you
have four 8 Ω cabinets with parallel
speaker jacks, you can link all four
8 Ω cabinets in a
parallel wiring
configuration, totaling a 2 Ω load

I've been daisy chaining the cabs but not sure don't want to hurt the head.

Either daisy chaining the two cabs from a single 2 ohm jack or connecting both cabs separately to the two 2 ohm jacks would be fine.

The two jacks are in parallel and connected to the 2 ohm tap. If you connect the two 4 ohm cabs individually, the parallel jack connections mean you're presenting a total 2 ohm load. If you daisy chain one can to the next you're still presenting a 2 ohm load.

I played my V4B + 212AV at rehearsal for the first time today. I loved the tone and sensation. We played quite loud today (much more than usually), I used a passive JB roadworn and I set my GAIN at 11h30 and MASTER at 11h30 ULTRABASS ON, ULTRA HIGH OFF, BASS and TREBLE at noon and MIDS 800Hz at 3PM. The tone was awesome and not dirty.
My question is, does it get any louder if I crank the gain and master after noon or is this noon/noon setup already close to the limit of my stack ? I didn't try to go further because it was already quite loud.
I mean, usually over Gain and master at noon on other amps I didn't get so much more volume when I was cranking the buttons but those were not all tube amps.

I'm pretty sure it has been resquested a billion times but how could I get the V4B reissue schematics ?
I can't find any on Loud website.
I'm an engineer and I love schematics :p
Oh dear I love my V4B/212AV so much that I will probably sell my SVT7/410HLF quite soon.

Loud has a tech support website, sign up and you can get schematics on there. A few people were able to get V4B RI schems with their serial numbers. Hodgy recently said in the PF-20/50T thread that they aren't releasing new amp schematics except to certified service centers, but I don't know if that covers current equipment released before the policy. I think a few folks around here got their hands on some.

Decided on the 2-112 setup and received yesterday. Love love love! Only thing is one of the grilles had a small tear developing (can't see in this pic because of angle) and MF is out of these until later next month. I contacted Ampeg to see if they could help but was told to swap out cabs with MF. I did not love that. Is anyone aware of these grilles being sold aftermarket? I checked Fliptops and did not see any.

What was your deciding factor on going with the 2- 112 cabs? That is where I'm heading. Just picked up a svp-cl pre. I am going trying that with my berg ip112er first, but I know I'm heading to the same set up you just got. I played a V4b with a 4x10 cab at GC the other day. That was pretty fat as well.

I wanted to originally go with a 212/112 combo but since the ohms don't match up (112 is 8 ohm, 212 is 4 ohm) and I didn't want to chance anything, it was either/or between the 112s and 212s. I figured since I have other large cabs that I can use for larger gigs, the 2- 112s won out. This particular band normally does not use FOH sound for instruments so I was concerned the 112s wouldn't be enough but doubling up on the 212s would have been overkill in most situations. Oh, and I didn't get a single 212 because I prefer the 8" height advantage of the 2- 112s. :)
I'm hoping I will be able to give this a try this weekend but heavy rains may dampen that. :/

Ampeg does sell replacement grills. Contact their parts dept. Or if I were you, I'd just wait till they can get more cabs in and swap it then. Make sure MF will give you a raincheck on the swap, though, as I think they won't do it after 30 days otherwise.
