3 basses in mind but which one

Next bass...i narrowed down to 3

Used Ebmm classic 4
Used Status Empathy 5
New Warwick FNA Jazzman 4

Currently i have a warwick thumb bleached blonde 2003 4 and a reverend rumblefish 5L

I play covers of top 40s from the 90s era onwards...which bass can compliment the two that i have now.

I have tried all the basses mentioned above...all sweet

I'd go for the EBMM.

The Status is going to sound very "hi-fi" in a way that won't lend itself to 40's-70's music.

The Warwick is going to sound like a Warwick.

( somebody just put this up here in the local adboard )...

Which one might compliment the two basses that i already own with the music i play?

For me it is between the SR and the FNA Jazzman.

The SR. is a classic and you can't go wrong.

But the FNA will do that plus some more. I feel like adding the J pickup makes it hard to do the dead on SR sound but you can get close and you can dial in lots of other tones having the added flexibility of the second pickup.

Maybe you should think about getting an eye exam.
I like a couple of warwicks, but not the FNA jazzman.
Also prefer the classic sterling to the stingray.
I would get the empathy of those three.
Now if you would have said warwick infinity or vampire that might of been different!

The EBMM Classic series are IMO the most consistently well made production line instruments around. I have yet to see or play one that hasn't been just excellent all around(and the figured maple necks are just killer). If the Stingray tone works for you I'd go for one in a heartbeat.

I vote for the classic ray i love mine. I like my 3 band eq a little better but the classic is amazing

Owning a 3 band MM Sterling 4H, I don't think I'd like the 2 band of the classic.
My vote is the Sterling 5 HH.

Considering what you already have (a Wick and a Rev) I'd jump on the Ray. Its an outstanding bass with a distinctive sound that still fits in many different types of music. Everyone should have at least one, especially the 2 band!
