3 basses in mind but which one

EBMM without a doubt.

For me it is between the SR and the FNA Jazzman.

The SR. is a classic and you can't go wrong.

But the FNA will do that plus some more. I feel like adding the J pickup makes it hard to do the dead on SR sound but you can get close and you can dial in lots of other tones having the added flexibility of the second pickup.
 
The Status is going to sound very "hi-fi" in a way that won't lend itself to 40's-70's music.
Maybe you should think about getting an eye exam.
I like a couple of warwicks, but not the FNA jazzman.
Also prefer the classic sterling to the stingray.
I would get the empathy of those three.
Now if you would have said warwick infinity or vampire that might of been different!
