Edit: I realized that the first pic, while being color accurate, makes the text look like it’s a bit faint in some areas. Attaching another pic to show that’s not the case.

Does anyone else see MR. Octabvre on 3.33 instead of MK 3.33 Octabvre? I feel like it needs a top hat and a mustache, maybe even a cane and a monocle.

Been playing the blue doom2. I have never owned the new version, just the old one.
This new Mode he added really changes then game for me. It’s such a cool sound. Not sure how you all run yours but I am getting a really nice subtle moogy vibe with the drive a little under 9 oclock. Of course I can turn it up and get fuzzy but I like how this is a bit more subtle but still transforms the sound dramatically.

I keep tweaking them and changing them per bass or track I am working on, but the general gist is volume at 12, gain under 9, lately bass at 12, mids and treble at 1. I also have not found a go to setting for the switches yet, so I'm always flipping those around.
Main point for me is that this pedal really shines for me with the gain set rather low.
Yes, the bass knob is the clean signal volume (independent of the vol knob). The clean signal can be low-passed when flipping the x-over switch.
Question for the brain trust on the 3 Leaf envelope filters. I have a Wonderlove v1 en route, I have a Proton v4, and my favorite filter of all time is my GR2. I had a Wonderlove Deluxe/V2, and several earlier Protons. The only 3 Leaf filter left that I haven't tried is the Chromatron, and with prices the way they are, I'm not sure if it's in the card.
That being said, what am I missing out on? I go thru filters like some ppl go thru underwear but the 3 Leafs have always been a mainstay. Is the Chromatron worth the $$$?

The Chromatron has the best layout of any filter I've ever used. The fx loop, expression out, the overall control of the sweep, all those are great. It didn't get greasy enough for me. I preferred the sound of the Wonderlove v1 that I had well before it, but also prefer the sound of the Meatball clone my wife built for me. The Chromatron feels like a bit of a missed opportunity in my view.
That said, it's pretty sweet. But if I had a GR2, Wonderlove v1, and a Proton, I wouldn't feel I was missing anything other than the bling factor.

I agree with @Eric Cioe that you’re not missing a lot, when you weigh in the current cost of a used Chromatron. Compared to the other 3Leaf filters I’d say it’s pretty polite. The loop is pretty great though - Chromatron with a Doom 2 in the loop is really something, but again, not worth the overblown cost. I’m lucky to have gotten mine used for a very good price. I mean, I love expensive funk as much as the next bassist, but that’s some expensive funk.
