A Bassline That Never Fails You

How would a bassline "let me down" per se?
So RickyWoo, what *exactly* did you mean by "never lets you down"?

Well, in all honesty, I believe you both know exactly what was meant and you are choosing to use semantics. It's a figure of speech. What's your favorite bass line that you keep coming back to? One that never grows tiresome. That clear enough? If you have one, post it like the others who have posted some classic lines and lines that are completely new to me and possibly others who like to expand their horizons. You might here something new and great yourselves!

No, no semantics arguments... just wondering. I posted one of my favorites myself already. "Never grows tiresome" is a pretty good explanation. Thanks!
