Finally joined the ranks of Lakland owners... though not quite how I planned to. The original idea was to get a 5502 new from the states. Instead I bought a Joe Osbourne 5 second hand. Its soo great. (If only I had my amp here to play through ).

Unfortunately my wallet won't stretch to a 5502 on top of the JO. My rig wasn't home today because I was filming a video clip on Friday night and I need to do more filming today(sunday) so I left my amp at the venue. I wasn't really planning in buying a new bass.

I just tried out a Skyline Hollowbody...with flats, that bass is the ****!

Yeah the vide went well... I had to use my Washburn though because I used it the other day. Stupid consistency.

Hi everybody! I'm planning on buying a 4-string Darryl Jones in the near future and the only thing keeping me from ordering one right away is the body shape. All the reviews seem to praise it as being really comfy, but to me it looks... a bit weird. I tried one a while ago in a local shop, and though it felt and sounded really good, I'm not still sure whether it looks different in a good or a bad way? ..So, I was wondering if any of you guys had any good action shots of the bass that would convince me to get one.. Thanks! (BTW, first post from this long time lurker )
