All this guys bashing me and i cant delete my account!

Do you really think that a website/forum this large costs only $20/month for hosting/bandwith?

You want to delete your account because you can't have an avatar?

Also, you don't have to use an international credit card, you can use PayPal.

Set up your own Internet forum/chat room and make your own rules.

Rule number one: Free avatars for all users.

Again, everyone wins. Come on buddy, I've given you two solutions so far.

this could almost be a direct quote from me, several times over the past couple years...most recently when people were whining about the Facebook thing...


if you don't like it...start your own and run it how you want.

talkbass, like Facebook and every other website, is the personal property of it's owners, who get to set the rules...i don't know what's so hard to understand about that....

this case is even more egregious than the facebook case, because you know going in (that is, they didn't change the rules) that if you want all the benefits of supporting membership, YOU MUST BE A SUPPORTING MEMBER.

if that does not appeal to you, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
