A Little Roscoe Fun

Yo, SteveC - here's your new beauty! She should be on the way to you today or tomorrow! I recorded a quick sound clip 'cause the bass sounds AWESOME! I leaned on the bridge pickup slightly and left the EQ flat, and I recorded direct through a REDDI tube DI.

I didn't weigh it before I shipped it, but it was quite light for a Mahogany bodied Roscoe...

Listening to the clip you made, it sounds absolutely amazing. Props on your playing as well Greg.

Steve, go weigh your bass!

I asked for it to be as light as possible. I'll weigh it after I get it.

Opps you posted while I was typing.

One of the local musicians here a few years ago had an unlined fretless with maple top, mahogany body and black diamondwood fretboard, he had put tape wound strings on it and it was a mmwaaahhh machine. If I could get it to produce some mwah with my poor technique, you know in the hands of skilled fretless player that bass would have sung the blues.

On another note, I haven't been on the Rocket page in a while and totally missed the Sienna finish, WOW!
