just kidding around with you.....thanks for posting the link...
I think the distinction they are trying to argue is that people only PHYSICALLY use 10 percent of their brain...as in their question "Well..which 10 percent are you using?".
As opposed to the actual capacity of the brain.
Comparing the brain to an engine is not stupid..and only a stupid person would say that.
The brain IS an engine.
A computer is an engine and the human brain functions similar to a computer......information is stored , processed and recalled.
Many computers have huge storage capability but are not utilized to their full potential. Although the entire computer physically is functioning while being used.
One could say that we're only as good as our CPU's.....(our CPU's being neuron capability and genetics as well as a few other factors).
"instant recall" of life events is a problem for many as is remembering past life experiences and things they learned.
Others have much less of a problem.........so some people's brains are genetically superior to others.
Since we know for a fact that brains can be trained to remember colossal amounts of information through certain techniques.....and that many people know nothing about these techniques...then there are a large amount of people not using their brains to better capacity.
You could say that these unfortunates are using 100% of their brain physically daily to produce 0% results.
